Rittenhouse Row Fall Gathering....

Friends,
In case you missed the Rittenhouse Row Fall Gathering at the Comcast Center last night, here's a bit of a recap:

Drink:
First, didn't know that it was going to be a bourbon cocktail party. BOURBON!
Now, I just can't get down with a lot of bourbon, but I must say that some cocktail highlights were:

Parc: a fantastic little blend of berries, cinnamon and bourbon... perfect for a crisp fall day on the square. I just LOVE this place.

Max Brenner: Chocolate martini with candied ginger (sans bourbon). How can you go wrong? Delish!
I'm totally inspired to try out the chocolate drinking ceremony... Who's with me?????

Food:
What food???
One cheese plate - some cookies from termini bros- and some pizza??? Not what I was expecting. A definite disappointment.

Fashion:
Ok, friends, here are the highlights:
Duke & Winston: A home-grown philly graphic t-shirt designer. Some seriously sweeeet gear!

SA VA: Two hot items for sure: a navy wrap dress that was hotttt and would flatter ANYONE, and a gray Erica dress paired with red tights... stunning! I've decided that I MUST start shopping there more.

And of course, South Moon Under: who doesn't love the polished surfer chic style???? I do!
Check out their floral scarves that aren't toooo girly.

The disappointments:
Joan Shepp: Come on, step it up a bit.... Just because it costs a small fortune, doesn't mean that it's fabulous. A bit too pretentious for me.

Ursula's About Phace: Sooo excited to see a bit of make-up - especially dramatic smokey eyes, but I was tooooo distracted by the Mardi Gras beads and the cheap clothes that models were wearing....

All in all, the gathering was a fun little romp! Looking forward to attending more row parties!
